Elinor
Peters, F.N.P., is a nurse practitioner who
is nationally certified in family practice and geriatrics. She joined Arroyo Seco Medical
Group in 2001.
Elinor received her nursing training at the Los Angeles
County / University of Southern California Medical
Center and went on to complete her Bachelor of Science
in Nursing at California State University, Sacramento.
She attended the University of California, Davis,
Nurse Practitioner Program and went on to earn her
Master of Science in Nursing at the University of
Southern California’s School of Nursing.
Previously, Elinor spent 16 years with Friendly Hills
Medical Group where she specialized in hypertension,
hyperlipidemia, diabetes, obstetrics and gynecology,
and urgent care. She also worked for Huntington Medical
Foundation and the underserved population at the clinic
El Projecto Del Barrio in Arleta. Elinor has served
on the boards of directors for the California Coalition
of Nurse Practitioners and the local Diabetes Education
Group.
Elinor enjoys collecting antiques. She and her husband,
Bill, have a small antique business in Pasadena, specializing
in American pottery. She shares her home with Bill
and their golden retriever, Molly.
